[寫作建議] 常見問題--結果的描述過於繁瑣--數字一堆

for example "77% of the subjects were male. 53% of the male subjects were age 30 to 39 years, 26% were age 40 to 49 year, 17% were age 20 to 29 years, and 4% were above 50 years. 86% of the female subjects were age 20 to 39 years."

寫作的主要原則之一是「易讀 (readability)」

以上的數字過於繁瑣，一般人看了也沒印象的，所以不利於閱讀與吸收。另外，這些數字通常會呈現於表格，相對而言，看表格的數據，就易讀多了。 所以文章裡也無須「重複敘述」。

所以宜以概述，提升可讀性。

for example, About 3 quarters of the participants were male. (or, Only one quarter of the participants....) 上述原稿中的男女年紀，通常無須描述 [除非您需強調之]，請讀者自行看表格即可。
